Good luck and get to work!
Before, I had nothing but time to mess with this truck now I don't know how I will find time
Tonight I pulled the headers and crossmember out to get ready for the tapped oil pan. I was only at the shop for a couple hours and I had to put together some 706 5.3L heads for my grandpas customer in Norway. Anyways, I'll post pics of any progress that gets done this week.

The bands are ****. How are you supposed to get them tight? Is there a tool you can use on them or something?

After wrapping the hot pipes, I didn't have enough to do the drivers side manifold. So I just painted it and bolted it up. I used the fiberglass spark plug wire sleeves but I'm sure it won't hold up. I will probably take the manifold off and wrap it after I drive the truck for a while. So the drivers side is complete
I was going to bolt up the log but decided to wait until I reroute my heater hose. I'm thinking about using two 90* hose barbs up by the firewall and routing the hose under the coolant reservoir. Should look pretty clean that way. Or should I just use the 90* barbs by the water pump and route the hoses in between the passenger valve cover and intake manifold to the firewall? Any suggestions or recommendations?
