Good luck and get to work!
Just started working two jobs... FML

Before, I had nothing but time to mess with this truck now I don't know how I will find time Tonight I pulled the headers and crossmember out to get ready for the tapped oil pan. I was only at the shop for a couple hours and I had to put together some 706 5.3L heads for my grandpas customer in Norway. Anyways, I'll post pics of any progress that gets done this week.

Got a chance to work on the truck today. I got the hot pipes wrapped and I sorted through all my parts. Should be a pretty fast install once I mount the intercooler. Any idea what thread size an IAT sensor is?

Nice wrap! I hated those bands, they didn't work for crap for me and I ended up using hose clamps

I also installed mine in a weekend

I wish I had a weekend I could dedicate to getting it done. I really want to drive it. I've only been able to work on it for a couple hours at a time.

The bands are ****. How are you supposed to get them tight? Is there a tool you can use on them or something?

After wrapping the hot pipes, I didn't have enough to do the drivers side manifold. So I just painted it and bolted it up. I used the fiberglass spark plug wire sleeves but I'm sure it won't hold up. I will probably take the manifold off and wrap it after I drive the truck for a while. So the drivers side is complete

I was going to bolt up the log but decided to wait until I reroute my heater hose. I'm thinking about using two 90* hose barbs up by the firewall and routing the hose under the coolant reservoir. Should look pretty clean that way. Or should I just use the 90* barbs by the water pump and route the hoses in between the passenger valve cover and intake manifold to the firewall? Any suggestions or recommendations?

I didn't use any 90's...looped them between the fender and coolant tank. I wouldnt worry about the drivers manifold either. Arms itching??

Do you two have any pics of how you routed the hose back into the water pump area under the turbo?
