Here's today's project.
55k miles on the clock
- Owner supplied parts -
Comp 918s
Custom Comp cam
GM head bolts
LS7 lifters
LS7 Valley cover
7.4 push rods
lifter trays
5.3 - 5.7 GM MLS head gaskets

the truck already has a drop, Pacesetters, & an ASP under drive pulley.

Nice what cam is that? Makes me want to brake the bank get lifters, and other suporting parts) and drop in my cam!

little bad discovery when the front cover was removed . . . . lots of extra work now.
Stock timing chain dampener BROKE ! . . . plastic and the spring plate, timing chain has lots of slack.
Dropping the oil pan, pulling the pump, swapping out the timing chain, timing chain dampener. . . .

I'm fighting the oil pan, taking a break to post these.

Yep, put the ls2 dampener when i did my dod delete/cam swap... heard about too many of those breaking...

Any reason you stuck with the stock tty bolts instead of going to some ARPs?

I had "heard/read" about them breaking, but this was the first that I've seen

for the head bolts? . . . stock heads, no boost, no N02 . . .
