Default My work truck

decided the old truck needed a little something extra. 4.8. for a while i had a single 63 mounted underneath but got sick of all the oiling problems so i went with twins up front. stock manifolds off of an 05 flipped cut and welded, twin 5858 precision billet wheel, v-band housings. turbosmart 45 gates, turbosmart bov, aeromotive in tank 340, no intercooler for now. have a 408 ls3 headed motor i just haven't had the time to put in it. when i do that i will add an intercooler.

honestly I'm just beating the crap out of the thing right now, trying to blow this motor up, I haven't looked at any of the tune up. I've put 15 psi to it and it just keeps on running lol. i bet if i put the new motor in and did that it would blow up. but this is the little motor that could. i even ran it on 87 a few times.

technically its a 7inch cst lift with a 3 inch body lift. but i changed out the block in the rear to only a 1-1/2 inch block. and it has settled a bit I'm sure. 20x10 rbp rims with 37-13.5 kumho's

edit: i also painted the frame black after looking at this picture and realizing how bad it made the truck look

i used up some of my connections and got some pretty deep deals on most of the parts. the turbos and all clamps and flanges were around 1800, waste gates and bov i got for free. manifolds were laying around. had most of the stainless and aluminum bends laying around from previous projects (still paid for them at one time) but figure around 400-500 in tubing and v bands. silicone hoses and clamps were all laying around, but probably about 150-200. an lines and hoses a couple hundred. Also had a radiator and e fans out of an 05 laying around. the plug wires cost me about 200 i had to have those custom made to wrap around the outside of the manifolds and they are completely fire sleeved from one end to the other.

Other than that I did all the labor and fabricating in about 3 days so no cost there
