Default My other project.

Hey guys,

I got my KBracing turbo kit for MY project, and while my Dad was drooling over it I guess seeing my kit it sparked his interest in my other/his project.

It is a 86 C10 that is getting a full square tube frame, 4 link and will be bagged all the way around. My Dad is a big fan of the pro street look so we are going big with it.
The motor and trans plans are still up in the air but I will let you guys know as I find out.

Here are some current pictures of it this is the modified stock frame (I sectioned it to lay body) but it is hitting the scrap pile to make way for a 2X3 square tube chassis with a 4-link, and a modified front cross member to have the ability to drive it low.

But any ways here you go.

i know I know not enough pictures but, it has sat in the shadows for a while and I am just now starting to blow the dust off again.

Thanks
Kody

Thanks, we are trying to get everything squared away for the motor, he seems pretty dead set on twins. He also wants to try and make 1000 to wheels.

Twins and 1000 at the wheels is easy. Costly but easy. 408 on boost and you are there. Obviously plenty other ways but this is a great way because there are guys who have done it and it is a proven platform. a LSX 427 would be a bit easier but the cost sky rockets from what I have seen.

Yeah, he wants to some budget friendly, but he knows 1000 is not cheap. I this we will probably be doing almost the same motor as mine but he will run an iron block and not as crazy of heads and twins vs a big single.

What is your motor?

A 408 built to make 1000 is probably as budget freindly as 1000 hp can be.
