Mine is a all aluminum 408 with stage 2 WCCH LSA head, Holley intake (the high rise one I forget what its called) and a BW S480. That's pretty much the jest of mine I am still ordering parts... and buying a truck to put it in.

Hey guys,

Just out of curiosity, from a budget stand point what would you do as far as twins vs single?

Its going to about $1500 for two small turbos, and I have been looking at bullseye's turbos and it seems we could get a nice large frame for about the same.

Which would you do?

Depends on what you really want out of the truck, drivability or pure race. If you wanna drive it on the street id go twins to have some of the torque lower in the RPMs. If you wanna just race it than Id go with the single large frame.

If you have the time, skills, and money, then I don't see a reason not to go with twins.

Hey guys,

Figure I would revive this thread rather than starting a new thread.

Basically I have completely taken over this project, and I'm building it the way I want it. So this is now going to be my new daily driver!

Here's the new run down.
Chassis/suspension
I'm gonna rock the 4.8/60e combo out of my rcsb
Porterbuilt drop member and tubular control arms
Full 2x4 chassis with a little "z" built in to let it lay rocker... not pinch, rocker
Two link with a wishbone rear suspension
I think I'm gonna run a 9" cuz I have a bare housing sitting
And it will go down the road on some 22's I'm kinda thinking some intro vista II's with the windows powder coated a flat graphite color?

Body

Its gonna be mostly stock but fully shaved
Firewall is gonna be fully smoothed
Roll pan
Nothing special really just gonna put a huge amount of time in fit and finish.

Interior

Same as the exterior just a cleaned up/more refined version of stock.
I am thinking of doing a red interior like the BMW's have, to go along with the black paint
And yes the bench seat is staying! We all no why! It is a quintessential part of good cruiser!

Yeah so that's the meat and potatoes of it, I don't have any recent pictures of it... I know pics or gtfo! I'm working on it!

I'm going to try and go pick up some more tubing to build a frame table and start building the frame hopefully this week, so I will get plenty of pictures of that.

Thanks
Kody

Listen to custm2500, he knows what he's talking about when it comes to one-off-customs with massive horsepower.
