Wow, it's been awhile since I posted on my build thread. It's been a crazy year. Anyway, I've got alot done and it's almost ready. I am going to try and start it this week. I have added a few things and am getting excited. Heres what it looks like right now.

Some updated info and pics:
A little update, I just ordered a PerformaBuilt Level 2 Pro race 700R4. I can't wait to get it in and installed. I also got some new rims and tires. Weld Street Stars with BF Goodwrench Radial T/A's 15x10 in the rear with 295/502/15's and 15x8 in the front with 245/60/15's. It's starting to come together. Even with the wider tires it will go sideways at 40mph. I need some slicks and weight in the back.

My mistake, they are the Cragar street stars, not Weld Racing rims.

Any updates! I found a 5.3 with tranny/transfer case w/115k and all ecu/sensors/ac/ps/alt/starter for my 95 Silverado which has 269+k on the original motor and tranny and he wants to trade my AR-15 setup for it all!

Update.
Got the Detroit Truetrac diff, 4.30 motive gears and monster stage 4 clutch kit installed. Truck was running awesome until I broke something in the short block. I was anticipating the bottom end to fail. This vid is the first time I got on it after breaking the gears and diff in. It hit the 6,800 rpm rev limiter faster than I thought it would.

In the next two weeks I will be installing a 2001 LS1 out of a Camaro SS. Has 68,000 miles on it.
241 heads with a valve job and milled 0.020.
Cometic 0.040 head gaskets to have a CR of about 10.8 to 1.
Comp Thumpr Cam
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Holley 750cfm carb
2" Primary Long tubes
New lifters
other small goodies

If I don't break into the 11's with this setup I am gonna throw a 150 shot of Nitrous at it.
