Yeah, we got a pretty good handle on it. It makes people laugh when they see the truck take the first few hops then they're like "what the ****" when the number comes up on the clocks lol

Yeah, I can't wait to get the truck lowered, new shocks on and the new bars. It's just been so damn hot here that I haven't felt like doing anything with it.

Well, I rode the 4L60e train as long as I could. Nothin wrong with the trans just came across a killer deal on a badass 4L80. I couldn't pass it up. Ordering of parts has commenced.

4L80 swap coming soon...

Can't go wrong there

Much easier to go fast when stuff doesn't break

I've been plenty fast with the 4l60e. But, I feel the truck is quickly approaching the limits. The 4L80 should handle any amount of power this truck will ever make(not much lol)

The fact that there are limits is the issue... with your amount of power a 4l60e isnt gonna take your crap forever

Even built ones can crap, like Coreys that died on the 5th pass. Anything makin big power should rock a 4l80e or better imo

My new x-member

4l80 swap parts list for me:
4L80 transmission
B&M Pro Stick - 80706
*** Converter -
x-member - GM# 15057774
Dipstick tube - GM# 15832205
4L80 cable bracket - GM#
Dipstick - My stock one cross references to the $40 4L80 one...score
Yoke - N3R-3-9161X
Transmission Cooler fittings - SUM-220027
TRU-COOL cooler fittings - SUM-220648B
90* hose ends x 4
20' of braided line

Everything is ordered, just waiting on it all to show up. I'm going to pick the trans up tomorrow. I suspect I won't have to use the stock cable bracket since the pro stick comes with its own, but I got it just in case.

i like how its clean stock piece and not like my cut and welded and plated crossmember
