Well I figured I would bump this back up, now that race season is over I have time and some money to work on the motor. I got my crank and rods ordered, went with K1 for $1350.00. I am talking to Chris Straub to get my cam figured out.

Things are coming together slowly, got my crankshaft and should have my rods by the end of the day. Got my camshaft ordered, I should have it in a couple weeks. Took my valve covers, engine covers and accessory brackets to get powder coated. The build has changed a little as follows.

LQ4 iron block
K1 4" stroke crank
K1 connecting rods w/ARP2000 bolts
Wiseco -3cc flat tops
ARP main studs

Chevy performane parts CNC LS3 heads
Cam shaft from Straub Technologies
.312/.316 lobe lift
291/303 adv
238/245 .050
106/118 centers
112 lobe seperation

Should get me a little over 600 at the flywheel.

GM never made a RCSB 2500hd as stated, but they did make regular cab long beds...

Sounds like a fun project!

Nice pics, It is always nice to see the parts start showing up. I dont know where you live in WA, but I live in the Olympic Peninsula, I would love to lend a hand if you need it and arent too far out.
