I can't imagine why... You don't think It couldn't have anything to do with my drivetrain being on it's last leg...

I purchased some nice replacement parts over the weekend though, Just need to tear into them.

Well that might have something to do with it. Better get on it. Not gonna fix it's self.

Fram was only on there because of the blown head gasket when I first changed the oil. It's got fresh oil and a delco filter on her now.

Thanks man.

The trans build was right around $1100 with the cost of the core trans.

Made a lot of progress yesterday

Modified the cooler lines and got them routed and secured.

Picked up the driveshaft yesterday morning and got it installed. Had the shop swap the yoke to the 4L80e piece, New U-Joints were installed and it was high speed balanced.

Driveshaft loop is back in.

Got the Bassani Headers back in, Y-Pipe and exhaust bolted up behind them.

Misc little things done under the hood. Modified the EVAP hoses to work with the NBS purge solenoid (Cause I didn't want to shell out $13 for the nnbs one )

Plugs, wires, Part of the intake tube, etc.

And began the 80e wiring. I am not going to be doing a segment swap. i'm going to run the trans on the modified 60e segment and relays.

Found some nice 5 pin weather pack relays on ebay and made my own harnesses for them.

Got them mounted and made my connections.

All that I have left is get my x link installed and work on the tune and she'll be ready for an alignment and the 'break in procedure'

Just finished up the relays. Now I'm just waiting on ups tomorrow and i'll be able to fire her up. Now to do a serious detail job. This thing is absolutely filthy.
