ls1 build for boost.shooting for mid 10s

Default ls1 build for boost.shooting for mid 10s

i've been throwing ideas around for awhile now and i finally decided im gone use the ls1.mods are gone be 1.vtc2 cam and prc dual springs 2.ported ls6 oil pump and ls2 hd timing chain 3.arp head studs and arp2000 rod bolts maybe forged pistons and 317 heads.still debating on that.my goal is mid 10s on 16psi

well blown06 went mid 10s with a 346 and a D1 procharger... its doable with boost and traction..

how much boost and was it a stock bottom end?

You can do it with stock bottom end but it definitely won't last long. Decent forged rods and pistons and a 76mm you can do it all day.

i have decided to go with forged pistons and scat rods.im trying to figure out which pistons and rods i need for stock bore

i think i found the pistons and rods im gonna use.mahle ls1314898f04 and scat 26125716.these is for 6.125 rod length.stock rod length is 6.098.with the longer rod,how is that gone affect me with boost?

Most rods are 6.125 and slot of people run them. I wouldn't go to low on compression either.

It was at 23 psi. Had Eagle rods and Mahle pistons.

that would be a great compression for e85! you should go mid 10's with about 15psi and a goood 60'
