Put the tires on and got a street tune with the bigger spring done. No more popping issues in part throttle. I will get a full retune on the dyno when I get a meth kit this spring. Also had some time to change the fuel filter which was a FRAM one and nasty. The filter is dented from me trying to bust it open to look inside replaced it with an AC Delco filter and also put in the light weight trans cross member from a member on here (Tyler).

I am trying to understand where in the wheels and why the wheels were welded.

No I don't, I can take some for you what pictures are you exactly looking for? The cross member is from Tyler Scrugs I think his name is. You can find him on the performancetrucks.net facebook page.

The wheels are in the scrape yard. I called the transmission shop after they sat there for a year and they said they tossed them. The wheels were welded because they were cracked on the inside and he didn't want to get new ones. I'm sure the Boyd Coddington wheels weren't cheap and he didn't want to buy new ones. Just the type of guy I slowly learned he was.

Did the HD front end swap. I will get the HD Hood eventually. Used Chinese top cap and grille. Emblem is billet aluminum from Ebay. Front bumper is OEM from a mint Tahoe. Paint matched.

Replaced the gauge cluster with a Denali one (from Twistedchevy) for the 120mph speedo and trans temp gauge. Mileage was not reset but uploading these pics so I can keep track. I might have the mileage calibrated but you have to sign a form and have it notarized and pay $150. Have to replace some of the light bulbs in this cluster and will switch out the grey gauge bezel with the old blackish one.
