i know someone with a 6.0 short block that needs main bearings...im sure you can get away with that. if you had a 07+ truck i have a LS2 6.0 with 25k miles on it sitting at my house id make a deal with you

Well I still have my 408 pistons if I want to find another block...so I still have a working 408 rotating assembly if I want to make another 408 the crank, rods, and old pistons are usable.

Wouldn't that be another 11to1 compression engine? Not too great for turbo'ing

Depends on the boost and the cam. The 408 with blower setup was my favorite, even though technically the turbo makes more power.
