So sorry to read about the BAD news. If it matters, you still posted some GOOD stuff on the build up in this thread. You may not realize it, but just reading through this thread has helped me out a lot and I doubt I'm the only one. I can tell you are pretty talented but unfortunatly had some terrible luck. Good luck with the up coming endeavors dude.

Hate it for you man. I'm just starting to consider a turbo on my stock 4.8, and build a forged 370 if I get the bug for the turbo. Your build was interesting to say the least, at least for me.

I will say I've been there with the dd/toy, and while it can be done it's risky. I can't tell you how many times I was stuck at 11pm looking for a ride to work the next morning cause I blew a________ (fill in the blank)
Now my dd is actually my toy, but I have other vehicles I can drive if needed. My plans for the truck should be relatively conservative for the build. Be it a stock long block, or fully forged.
Hate to see you hanging it up, you'll be back in the game. I was out a couple of years, but dammit here I am again.

I'd offer to bring you a set of stock manifolds and gutted Y, but it'll be Easter before I'm in the area, and the Y is off a '99 and there are some differences. I could bring you a Y from my '08, but it would need to be modified also.

I dont plan on leaving the truck scene any time soon, but go fast projects have definitely been put on the back burner, ive had all I can stand for the time being. I have too many fun parts laying around to call it quits completely, but nothing will happen any time soon.

When I do get back into it, it will be in an AWD RCSB with my turbo, engine after I have it fixed, 80e, and 14b. It sucks having 600+ hp but still being relatively slow because you have huge tires and weigh over 3 tons.

Sucks to hear atomic. Good luk on building your next project. You've given me a lot of good information, and I'm curios about the injector results.
