Default JZzzNmyTaco Build!!

Alright im not new to this forum, but this is my first post with new Screen Name.
This is my first truck build and I was usually over on LS1 tech.

Im currently still in college, sooo this build might be kind of slow. I started about 3 months ago, soo this is to catch everyone up.

The truck is a 2007 Toyota Tacoma, 2.7L with 5spd manual.

In the attempt to make the truck look less
I had my windows tinted, tinted the lights, painted emblems and badges matte black.

As far as power goes, Ive decided to use the engine that made toyota famous.

Power plant is going to be a 2JZ turbo motor.
Since I was going to tear down the motor and rebuild it, I decided to buy a 3.0L 2JZ-ge from a 2002 Lexus IS300.

Picked one up for $400 and began to tear it down.

Got tired of the bench seat and picked up some used Acura TL leather/power seats for really cheap.

You're going to have the same problem supras do, 12.0 @ 145mph Thought of using an auto, or at least a better manual trans?

Yeah...dont remember the password for my account and dont use the email associated with it anymore.

This swap has been done in the 1st gen tacoma just not 2nd gen.

Thats not a problem that only supra's have. Im sure there are tons of chevy trucks on this site that have crazy engine set ups and cant hook.

This build is not to break records or have crazy track times...its just to have fun. I will do more roll racing than track racing as well.

I meant building boost low enough, not hooking. There's a supra around here that has run 10.4 @ 139, but it gets murdered from a roll by a 450hp camaro lol.

Exactly...the power band is alot smaller than a camaro...if hes set up to run 1/4 mile he will prob suck on a roll and vise versa.

I promise there are alot of supra's owning chevy's from a roll.
