I presume that procedure/spec is for stock rods and bolts? ARP provides a different spec for their bolts on stock rods and aftermarket rods should have a procedure/spec provided by the rod manufacturer. However, IIRC, K1's specs for the degree method (as opposed to using a stretch gauge) were very similar to the one posted above.

We have used mbrp with good success.
Had to modify the hangers for height.
And we added one at the of the cab for weight support.

Something like that is going to be your best bet. I would suggest a nice 4" v-band for the bottom of the dp. Makes pulling the dp out for anything a lot easier! Hell, I would do a couple of them. One at the dp and another before the rear axle crossover.

Just got back from a week in Jamaica! It was badass now onto business!

The mbrp exhaust that I linked came in today and seems like it's going to fit. I just need to cut one piece and expand it so it can slide over the trick dp.

Yep you can go to a big truck supply house. And pic up a transition.
I used a slip slip. Slip over down pipe. Slip over 4" pipe.
Or get slip to pipe size and weld into place.
