What’s the max load of those tires? My g2’s 295/40/20 are 2337 lbs. I’m kinda questioning the load on the fronts and pushing it in the corners. The side wall is definitely a little soft for the weight of the front of the truck.

2094lbs according to Nitto

Nitto doesn't make a 275/45/20 nt555, but here are some other specs:

Nitto 421Q - 275/45/20 - 2337lbs
Nitto 421Q - 275/40/20 - 2094lbs

based on that, you can assume that basically they were telling me you can't run 275/40/20 on a RCSB, which we all know is bullshit

A friend of mine has a 03 1500hd lowered on 22” billet specialist running 305/40/22 since 2005 and its supercharged 6.0 drives the hell out of it with no problems he also works at Michelin and says that the tire ratings are underrated for this reason I also had 305/40/22 put on the wife’s heavy Escalade so it’s like a milk date just for reference

Discount gave me the exact same issues when I went to get my tires mounted on my CCWs, I even told them they were goin on RCSB (drove up there in my Avalanche) and they wouldn’t even mount them on the rims....had to go to a mom and pop tire shop to get them mounted

I run 275/40/20 on my ext cab and discount mounts my tires no problem. What's the load rating on them 106?

Go in there and tell them 03 ext cab with the 235/75/16 option that was a factory load rating of 106. There system doesn't allow them to go below the factory load rating.

I don't know the load range of them, where would that be found? I told them it was a 2wd truck, I think those come with 245/70/17 stock

It's a 106xl. There reason I say that specific one is same thing happened to me at discount, 03 had two option as far as tire either a 235/75/16 or a 255/70/16. The main difference the load rating the 255 has a 110 load rating same as a 245/70/17. That's why they wont do it. Just try another one saying it's a 03 or 04 shouldn't be an issue.

the load rating is the last number on your tire size 275 45/R20 110....110 would be the load rating

Yeah these say 106W XL

So I should say 2003 Silverado with the 235/75/16 tires?
