2 step setting would depend on what the track is like and your torque converter. Typically with turbo setups its between 3000 and 3500.

Looking at your signature now, looks like you're a 4wd....so just put it in 4 and build all the boost you want
Is there a direct install rear disc brake conversion kit without having to change the master cylinder or anything else? Similar to this:

I read in FAQ @ summit the following:

Q: Can I use a master cylinder from a disc/drum brake system with a four-wheel disc brake system?
A: No. A master cylinder designed for four-wheel disc brakes is required to supply the proper fluid pressure and volume.

Sorry for thread hijack.

Ok, just got it. It should hold better in 4wd, you're saying. Will try it.

Thanx.

For what its worth I have SUV disc brakes on the rear and 05 brakes on the front. Total upgrade cost was probably around 500 bucks and my brakes are awesome.

2005 tahoe I think, its the 13" dual piston setup. I did notice the rear will grab first when I have the stock brakes, probably because the factory rears are single caliper and these are dual so a difference in volume.

Now that ive done the fronts I guess they are about the same. Hard to tell which set of tires locks up first

Direct swap on both front and rear, stock master cylinder, used hydrobooster from somewhere.
