Well on the optimistic side, I had no parts that came out of the trans that didn't go back in. Guess we are gonna find out

Awe come on man. Sign of a true race truck is when you have leftover parts after a build that you don't know where the hell they came from! Lol

That is true man, I had a shim from the trans that I had no clue where it came from, wasnt in the manual or on WIT's transmission diagram. Finally ended up seeing it in a thread and confirmed with the wear marks but for a while I was scratching my head wondering if it was from something else in the garage.

UPDATE:

Was going to attempt to work on the trans this weekend but got side tracked and didnt have the time so I tackled something less labor intensive.

It was too dark for a photo but I installed the line lock on the rear brakes. Before I went turbo, I was going to do nitrous and had a nitrous outlet switch panel in the cubby hole. 99silversled and I installed a harris speedworks kit on his truck and I gave him the panel, he brought over a box of random switches for my now empty cubby hole.

I grabbed the onstar buttons and the traction control button. I was able to meter out the traction control button and find two pins that were connected when the button was pressed.

Since the button is a momentary, I needed a momentary latching circuit, there are a few ways to do it but DEI makes a module for $20 so to avoid the hassle I just picked that up. I wired up the pins from the traction control button to send the trigger wire to ground when its pushed. The latching circuit sees the pulse and stays on until it sees the same pulse again. Turns the momentary switch, into an on/off switch.

I also added a super bright LED to the left of the button so I don't forget its on.

Right now nothing haha, I metered them out and it looks like I'm going to have to go to the board to use the buttons. I'll get to it some day, no rush. I cant wait for something that small to be a weekend project. Tired of being covered in different automotive fluids every weekend.

The line lock isnt working.

Went out today to test the line lock and seems like it was still hard to get the tires to break loose. Jacked up the rear and put it in gear, hit the line lock, then hit the brakes, tires stopped.

I flipped the lines to see if I maybe had them reversed but that didn't work either and I confirmed with the manual. I can hear the solenoid activate when I hit the button but its just not working, defective unit?
