Pulled the lift shackles in the rear off today so it's now sitting at 3/6. Installed the assassin bars which took quite a bit of cutting etc to get them to work for the flip kit but overall i'm happy with them. Look great and def improved traction. ZERO WHEEL HOP!

Also ended p with a hallman boost controller with cockpit cable. Was going to go with an EBC but snagged this one from ebay for $91 shipped so its hard to beat.

Thanks, Got too really short video clips last night;

in cab, had a little fender rub at the end, whoops

One quick fly by

The traction bars worked a little too well last night, two hours and quite a few hard launches after finishing up and the stock rear end is howling bad. Grabbing a Valuetrac, 3:73 gears and master install kit from Ron's and going to try to knock that out next weekend.

Just ordered;

-Valuetrac with 3:42 gears and master install kit
-Moser rear cover with main cap studs

Changed my mind on the gears after reading how everyone loves the 3:42, turbo and 80e. Getting the rear out and apart this weekend and hopefully have the truck back up and running by the end of next weekend. Pics to come.

Don't worry, that's what I have and it works great, especially with my small MP70.

I wanted to try to get the 80e in before the rear blew to try out the 3:73s because I've got the t70 as well but that didnt exactly pan out. I went with the 3:42 because I'm bound to do something stupid in the future like a larger turbo or twins.

Pulled and dissassembled the rear tonight. Nothing too bad inside but found some large chunks of metal on the magnet.

All the rear end parts show up tomorrow.

Still crankin away at the 80e, I've got all the sub assemblies rebuilt except for the pump. Only thing I need to pick up is some new parts for each assembly as some have hot spots like the below photo.

Hope to have the rear back under the truck by the end of the weekend. Also waiting on some axle bearings and seals, might as well since I'm in there.

Good idea on the seals and bearings! Would hate to have new gears in and have an old bearing go bad.
