Just wait till you put in a billet converter one day and drop 40 lbs. That's when it got really fun for me coming from my stock 80e converter

Just got an updated tune from blackbear and its looking like my fueling issue is fixed. Did some quick pulls around town and wideband goes right to 11.0 and stays there from 1-9.5psi. Havent run it all the way to redline yet but it looks promising.

Here is from the other night, 1-2 shift at a little over 8psi breaks the tires loose. Crappy video and audio but gonna get a go pro soon for some better shots.

 

Well the turbo kit has 5000 miles so far and the 80e is over 2000mi. Have had it up to 10psi the last 500miles and have been giving it daily beatings.

With that said, most guys says 10-12 is the limit without meth and straight 93 octane. I'm not out of fuel yet, its been flawless so far, am I pushing my luck upping the boost to 12psi? Obviously the fuel needs to be there but besides that. Thoughts?

 

I think as long as the fuel and IATs stay in check you should be ok. You gonna take this thing down to OC for the cruise week in october?

 

Do you have a way to log for detonation?

 

I figured i'd just slowly turn it up and keep an eye on the wideband. we've had some nasty hot days here lately and even with that the highest ive seen was 130 after getting on it, most of the time its 10 above ambient though.

Didnt even know about cruise week, depending on how long of a haul it is i'd consider it.

I can watch knock in real time on the aeroforce, there is also a record/playback feature on it too, suppose that could work

 

Its down in Ocean City, MD the weekend of Oct. 5-7. but Most people show up either wednesday or thursday. Its usually pretty crazy down there at night before all the cops show up Friday night.
