Some parts going on this weekend,

New brake pads all around
Upper/Lower Balljoints
Inner/Outter Tie Rods
New center caps/lug nuts for the aging 20s
Rims are at the tire place up the street for some General Grabber UHPs in 275/45.

On stockers because I didn't want to leave the truck with them.

Got a Jake's Performance rebuild kit and shift kit on the way for the 80e and still gathering parts for that build but should be starting next weekend.

Got everything done except lowering the rear. Leaf spring bolts just would not come out. Ordered a shackle repair kit with two new shackles, bolts and leaf spring bushings so the bed will come off new week and I can knock this out for good.

The general grabbers are def an improvement in traction over my old GT-IIs but still roasts them entering boost in first, hope that 80e is gonna help.

80e parts starting to show up this week

Not too many updates lately, 4l80e build is still in the works and should be done in a week or two. Got three more items to buy;

Traction bars - I see everyone going with caltracs but those new assassin bars look awesome. Think I am going to order up a set tomorrow and throw some pics up as there aren't many floating around.

Boost controller - Boost on my spring is all over the place so I figure its time for an EBC that is going to keep me right where I want to be, looking at the Gizzmo boost controller. Hope to pick that up this upcoming week as well.

TruTrac and possibly gears - No brainer on replacing the G80 but going to see how the 80e, turbo and 3:73s work together before deciding on what gears to get.

After the above 3 I quit for a bit, Just going to run 10psi and maybe start another build but i've got my eye on building a shop in the back yard to store all this crap.

Got my tune updated and its pretty close so I washed the truck and took some pics, enjoy.

The old caps were **** so I tossed them, you can pick up a set like the ones I just got from ebay with the bowtie, GMC or caddy logo, like $60 shipped

Gotta get some videos with the updated tune! Sounds like things are holding up pretty well.

So far so good, keeping my fingers crossed that everything holds together but it seems like it's doing just fine. Gonna see if I can get some new fly by vids or something soon.

Just got off the phone with Smith Racecraft, got the last set of assassin bars they had in stock.

Found these waiting on the doorstep when I got home today. They look great and seem very well made. Going to try to get them on this weekend.
