Sorry man, I moved out this weekend, and so now things are being held up. The truck is at Wilson's getting headers made for the turbo. They're going to take awhile so, I'm currently looking for a new job before I can move forward on on the project. I'll be back on it soon though.

Alright so my pop and I have pretty well got all of our issues lined out, and I'm beginning my new job soon. So the project pig is back on.

Stopped by Wilson's today, and checked out the 3/8 flanges he turned out by hand and port matched. They are super sweet. Production has been slow but we have everything sorted out and a load of 409 stainless 1 7/8, and 3 inch tubing showed up today. The crossover and everything is looking good but things are going to be tight cramming a 5" Downpipe beside the A/C and battery. Otherwise everything is looking good. Got new O2's today as well and another set of BR7's. Still a long ways out, as all the pipes see going to be ceramic coated along with the exhaust housing of the turbo. After that it's just a simple matter of setting up the coolant reservoir and extending the heater hoses

great build man!
I cant believe I didnt find this thread till now, but at least I didnt have to wait to watch the updates
whens the guestimate on a run date?

I'm curious about that washable oil filter, what was the retail on that if you dont mind me asking. is it like the air filter, just a cleaning solution and let it dry? why'd you decide to go that route over the typical oil filter?

Haha yeah, well still a few to go, but get, could be worse

My guesstimate would be sometime next month. (Been saying that for awhile lol)

As for the oil filter, they're super expensive, ($220) but I do really like having a metal element filter with magnets. We opted to go that route, as we plan on beating on this truck regularly. It'll be a daily driver, and will probably live on the street at over 800WHP. Hopefully to see as much as 1400+ with the new turbo. Considering that kind of power, I'd like to be able to crack the filter open and get a good idea of what kind of punishment the bearings are taking, and hopefully catch a problem before it becomes too late and a catastrophic failure happens.

Probably 8 psi on the low, all the way up to 30. I'm a little concerned that I may not quite have enough fuel pump to get the job done, but I guess we will see.
