Yea use assembly lube instead of normal oil

Seems like the better choice regardless of how long the motor is sitting.

I bought a inch pound torque wrench today at harbor freight , so previous question is invalid.

So this big *** thing came today, only waiting on my spring install tool to arrive, which is on back order

oh and my wideband.

Should be getting the cam in soon

This is the correct bolt right??

For the balancer yes.

I've never felt the need to spend the $$$ on ARP though. You'd have to do 5 cam swaps to cover the cost versus a stock TTY bolt.

Yeah it's certainly more expensive. But seems more straight forward to just torque to spec than the whole tighten and then extra 1/4 turn or whatever it is to stretch.

speaking of which, what is the torque?

240 lb/ft I believe.

Also, the stock bolt is very easy to torque. I just drop a line on the bolt head with a permanent marker and have at it.

Put a little dab of blue loctite on the threads. Ive had one of those bolts back out while driving...not much fun...
