havent had a updated in almost 2 months..well in the 2 months i bought the 6.0 totally tore it down, took the bare block to the machine shop for a hone, cam bearings, and a hot tank dip. got it back home and put everything back together. and hear it is. itll be going in the truck this weekend.

well its 4:00am here, got the shortblock set in the truck, bolted the trans up, converter, and installed all the sensors..didnt start on it until 11p.m. and called it a night around 3a.m. dropped it in by myself since theres no one up this late that could help. wasnt to bad, went smooth.

its getting there. hopefully ill be able to atleast fire it up and let it idle within the next 3 weeks. just waiting on push rod length checker to come in the mail..then to order pushrods. first start video will be posted. stay tuned in!

Don't forget the ground on the back of the block when you put the heads on... LOL

It would have been easier to put it together on the engine stand imho. But so far you have a pretty good platform going on

i figured it would of been way easier to get to the bellhousing bolts with the heads off..and i didnt have to take hood off. it really wasnt too hard putting the heads on in with the engine in. yeah, torquing them would of been easier out, but id rather take that that then sqeezing my hands behind the heads and try threading in bolts.
