You need to go by the marks on the pushrod length checker.. Do not measure the OL of the checker because that is not how it is designed to work and will be inaccurate. When the checker is at its shortest, it is 6.800", and each full turn is .050". Check out post #2

I didnt make the progress today that I had wanted too.
Those arp studs added a ton of time! And the stage 8 locking bolts for the headers dont help either
got both heads on and torqued down and got the left header on and locks on

I'll try both ways, measure overall and count turns...see where we end up
