I understand your concern and point. But I am not 50 yet so mild daily is my plan.

The only car I ever left stock to the paper filter was my 05 Altima. It was a new lease off the lot and I didn't drive it hard. Actually never drove it much at all and in the 4 year lease I put under 25,000 on it. It **** two bottom ends with regular synthetic oil changes, and like I said light occasional driving. So that is scientific proof that stock isn't reliable for me!!!! hahahaha

Lol. Come on man. So you're going to build a turbo truck now. But running a LT back exhaust system on your cammed/nitrous race tahoe isn't in the budget?

Nobody is being a pansy. We are giving you good advice based on our past experiences. You are acting like a high school kid who just got a driver's license and a hand me down, first vehicle.

I sold a 408 stroker and it's parts to buy a stock bottom end, full turbo kit, and the cam for this denali.

That took all the money, so when another $500 comes avalible it will get a full exhaust.

Very sound advice, The exact reason my 05 crew is now back stock. I will never mod a daily that my wife and kid will have to drive some. I will admit it was fun to see the look on some peoples faces while it was loping in the parking lot. The sound and no-cats smell got old after a while and the 4.10's suck on the interstate with the 80e.

Sound won't be louder then the Tahoe is/was, it was stock manifolds, cats and no muffler, piped and dumped just in front of the roll pan. The girlfriend didn't have a problem with it(she is picky when it comes to comfort) and stock gearing is being retained.

Dont you love how everyone posts to do exactly opposite of what you are doing?

It must be frustrating that no one 'gets it'...

I see the point everyone is getting to. You know i typically go against the grain. Unlike normal thst isn't fueling these plans. I am not 16 and ignorant in understanding the risks of my modifications. But the reaction I am getting is like I am heads, intake, massive injectors, and everything else possible.

The fact remains I will put a the cam in. It already has the stall, and the tune is being worked on once the cam is in.

These are the heads that were on the 408. I sold them with stock springs. The Denali will have the springs installed on the truck.
