9 months ain't terrible...
i've been putting off changing my wife's clutch in the hummer for about 2 years now because the couple times it's lost pedal pressure in the extreme cold (which is always while i'm deployed or TDY), a simple clutch bleed fixes it.
...but this time, she started asking about buying another truck - so i reckon when i get home, i'm replacing the whole clutch while the transmission's out to swap the slave (the common culprit each time).
Well guys I sold this thing officially yesterday. Well I sold what was left which was a cab, bed, frame, and front suspension. Trans, Tcase, motor, blower, and a lot of other parts are in my shop still kinda as spares for my Tahoe or maybe another project. Rear axle and 8lug wheels went into my gmt400 k2500, and the seats got sold a while back.
I gave what was left up for this turd of a 1948 CJ2A, it’s rough, but fired right up with a fresh battery and made the short trip to my house.
