Does this have anything to do with the TB converter I just put in?

A later model that will accept the nss, and has the cooler lines further apart.... I know the internals were "better" on the earlier 4l80s but for simplicity find something out of i want to say a 96 or later

The real early EPC solenoid in the 80E is not compatible with the newer computers. I wanna say it was 93 and back. It had a self cleaning feature or something different. Not sure if you can change out the harness and solenoid to make it work or not, I was thinking you couldn't but I forget. I would stay with a newer one 97+
