Got a few things buttoned up, headlights sanded and cleared, grill cut and fitted, LED bulbs installed, driveshaft back in it. Just need to drop the tank, install new pump and racetronix wire kit, ditch the Optima that crapped the bed and get some juice to it so I can check fuel and oil pressure. Then we ignite!

Slow and steady right? Finally got around to dropping the tank and changing out the pump. The old 450 was probably fine but it's been sitting in the truck soaking in old gas for like 4 years. and I wanted to upgrade the wiring inside so I'm glad I did that. Got the Walbro 525 Hellcat pump and Racetronix hot wire kit all installed and tank back in the truck. I suck at taking pictures while I'm working on stuff, but it's all back in and man was that a fun job. Not friendly for a big boy doing this alone on his back with jack stands and an ATV jack! Getting a little closer every weekend.

Well between the holidays, lack of funds and crap weather, we've hit another stall out. I wanted to have a "first fire" for new years as my resolution, but mother nature and the federal guvment had a different idea. Hopefully be back on it soon once it warms and dries up a bit. Not much left!
Anyone have ideas on how to prime the hydroboost on a first fire without ruing the PS pump?
