I would think shifting higher would allow you to keep the RPM's higher and loose less boost and power after each shift, especially with the converter you have

Me personally I would probably shift a 6500. Thats a cam with a decent amount of lift, then add boost on top of it, thats a lot of stress on youre valve train. If you go to a 3.85ish pulley you should be able to make the same boost at a lower rpm. Thats just my thought though..But if you have light valves and good springs with a decent amount of seat pressure you should be able to shift at higher rpms.

Just re read that, ya 6900 seems pretty up there. I would start at 6500 and see where that puts you. 6500 is where we are going to start after it's all put back together with my truck.

yea, would it be worth swapping the cam to the one pat g spec'd? get a little more down low when out of boost. the heads are WCCH heads, use Patriot duel springs.

Valve control wise the change in cam wont make a difference. You might want to swap to the smaller cam though to get more low and mid range since the procharger will carry the power on up top. I would get the procharger running great first, a new cam would be one of my last mods. That converter will probably need to be tightened up a bit with the boost.

its the one Chris recommended when I first told him about going with the procharger. If it doesn't work I may have it tightened up a bit
