Oh so do I. Lol. I form Atlanta and lived in Tucson for the past 7 years. I'm not liking this cold. And I've only seen -5 so far. They tell me it will be -40 with a -100 wind chill in the winter time. Snow so thick you can't see the front of your hood. I need to install a block heater before next winter. And I need better tires. These worn out Bridgestone's didn't do that great on the ice. May get some studded tires and throw them on my stock rims. Thankfully my trucks awd and it did help a good bit. I couldn't imagine having a 2wd in this

From what I've herd chains and awd don't mix well. And don't chains have a max speed of 50 mph or something

Good studded tires and 4WD does amazing in my truck so im sure you will do just fine if you get some

I would recommend some hankook ipike studded tires. Love them on my truck.

I have some 4 second 0-60's in the middle of winter

Also heard great things about the Bridgestone Blizzak. In a 265/70R17. And I could run it rear round until I can save up for a different set for summer use

Duratracs aren't quite as grippy as a dedicated snow tire, but they are severe winter weather rated and exempted from chain requirements for all-season and summer tires in the mountains due to this. You could run those year-round and save up for winter-only tires.
