Yes, I'm on a bone stock trans. I bought the truck brand new and did all the current mods when it only had 3500 miles on it. The truck rolled 105,000 miles today and the trans has never even hick up'd.

I can't really claim 1000 ft/lbs cause it has never been dyno'd, but the factory rating on it was 800 ft/lbs. Add in the H&S Minimax turned all the way up (I've always run it turned all the way up, even when towing my race truck) and the 5" turbo back exhaust, it would have to be at least 1000 ft/lbs. at the flywheel. One thing to note, I did not upgrade the trans tune through the minimax (I wish I did), but don't know how to access that now since the EPA has run them off.

There is a function on the Minimax that calculates an instant torque number while you are driving. I'm not sure what all the factors are that it uses to get this number. Probably fuel flow/pressure in the rail, boost and maybe even acceleration are some of the factors. Regardless, once it hits 36 lbs of boost, it is logging a torque value somewhere between 1100 and 1250 depending on what gear I'm in and how fast I'm going or accelerating. I'd have to bet that 1250 ftlbs. would be a long shot.......but don't really know.

It has the 6 speed auto (which I have openly expressed my displeasure with), but can guarantee you the 4 speed auto I had in my 06 (probably around 800 ft lbs. would have been long destroyed by the motor in my 2012.

Sooo with the new found traction i am experiencing alot of engine movement. My motor mounts are stock and have 150k on them soooo they are probably shot. The engine moves so much the headers hit the steering shaft. I have a set if solid motor mounts but i want to try something different. I bought a set if acdelco motor and trany mounts. I am gonna install those.

Then i am trying to build a strap to keep the motor from torquing over to much.

I used a 6in suspension limit strap, a clevis and a hiem joint. The adjuster is still waiting to be delivered. I am gonna attach it to the alternator bracket and driver side frame rail.

Here are some pics.

The adjuster. It is actually for ladder bars.

Is there a reason for not going to solid mounts? Although I appreciate your spirit for trying something new. In for results.

Well i started thinking when i removed/installed the tranny you had to tilt the motor down. With solid mounts that goes out the window.

If this does not work then i will swap to the solids.

Main reason is to try something different.

I got the new motor and transmission mount swapped today. Only took like 3 hours and that included removing the headers. The old ones were wore out i could move them with my hands no telling what they were doing under a load.

The bad. I broke amspark plug wire and one of the spark plug holes was screwed up. I always use antisieze so i dunno what happened. I got a tap and ran it through it several times which helped but it was still kinda tight. I might need to plan on swappping to some different heads eventually if it does it again.

I am gonna swap in a fresh fuel filter and my new ID850s tomorrow and see how it does.

I am still waiting on that damn adjuster to come in to finish the motor strap.
