Next i decided i hate that little cubby thing under the radio soooo, i designed a replacement. It just screws right into place. the 3 holes on the left in the recessed section will hold the AlkyControl box. I took apart the box and measured the face plate. the gain, led and push button should all fit and look nice. The 3 holes in the middle under will hold my 3 LEDs... the Alkycontrol pump led, my low meth level led and my 2nd fuel pump LED. the last hole on the right is for my USB radio connection...

here is what it is replacing.

Love it man! This truck is awesome. I can't wait to see a nice pull with the 3.0 pulley!

Sooooo, during the last few months i had to swap out the 3.0 pulley because my belts kept developing a squeak after awhile. the 3.2 pulley does not ever squeak. After a month or two of researching a looking at the truck. I determined the Alternator pulley was not in alignment. it was off by 1 rib... So i called up Innovators West. They said it happens on some trucks, and i needed a pulley off of an older Fbody... Sure enough it lines up.

here is a shot of the stock pulley next to the new fbody pulley...

So what is the deal with this printing ****?

How bad are the up front costs in getting rigged up to do something like that?

Cool stuff going on here.

When you're ready to send your stock 17's down the river let me know I'm about to order some 285/50's for the crew cab. That's a good looking size.

Nice! That turned out good. I may print my own pod as well, I am not fully convinced that I want all 3 gauges in the pillar.

The printer I have access to is the Makerbot 2, which has a created a huge name for itself in the market place. Their entry level machine retails for about $1,600, the one I use roughly costs $2,500.

What BlackGMC is getting, is coming from a company using machines that cost more than you and I could imagine. And you can see why, the print quality is amazing. I am really really jealous, also the software he uses is quality software, although SolidWorks is best suited in my opinion, but that software retails for thousands.

Here's an example of the near best quality I can produce, doesn't even touch what he is able to get thru that company.
