Last fitting showed up today. The manifold can finally be bolted down.



I love my AN fittings!

 

Another cool little idea i came up with. With my boost gauge it came with that little brittle nylon hose. Previous i kinked and broke one. Come to find out it fits perfectly into a -3 braided teflon line. It slides right in no problem. I put some heat shrink on the ends. Then the compression fittings attach like normal and no fear of kinking or breaking the line.

where are you getting your an hose and fittings?

 

Summit racing. I started making my own. They are -3 braided teflon fragola. I was buying premade ones but the length was always slightly too long or slightly too short. Kinda stupid but that is just how i am.

 

I've never bought pre-made ones. Does summit put them together or the manufacturer?

 

Many manufactures make them. They are crimp style fittings. they come in a bunch of different size -3, -4, some npt, etc... I bought premade ones for my Meth kit since i did not trust 100-250psi on hoses i assembled...

If you ever need any fittings local my buddy has a shop up off bluemound by Haslet and usually has hose and fittings in stock.

 

Thanks i usually try to keep to the same brand on everything. I have had some sealing problems previously mixing brands. In a pinch i hit up Smileys in mansfield.
