With my deka 60s i get 15-16 mixed driving.

Maybe big injectors just get bad mpg. I dunno.

Also thinking back. I dont think i was running that much timing at part throttle/cruise as i am running now. Maybe that was the issue.

I got 17mpg last tank with your old FIC1000s, Corey. Haven't touched the tune with the new compression engine either. Probably get another mpg or two with some extra timing.

They aren't two-tone, those are spacers

It's the same injector everyone uses, you are just paying for the spreadsheet data.

Wonder if the ID data could be applied to the FIC injector. I mean they are the same Bosch injector after all.

Previously when i was NA i had some regular marine injectors. I got like 15-16 mpg. Then i got some better settings for them and i was getting 18-19. Then i switched to the turbo with the fic injectors and i got 10-12.
I log calculated MPG via EFI live, and the mileage loss is certainly at steady state as well. I'm really wondering if I could get some better injector data for the 1000s. For example, the injectors are listed as 103 lb/hr on the FIC website at 58 psi, yet in the tuning data they send the IFR is listed as 114 lb/hr.

I used the data they provided, 114lb/hr. You guys might want to increase your timing at cruise.

I am going to be going through this same thing then. I just got FIC1000's for my project and was going to use the data with them. I didn't think the ID's were worth the extra $200-$300, but maybe they are.

I will post back when I get everything together to let you all know my results. I was not expecting too much in the way of MPG anyways, I mean it will be a 408 with 15psi and not a DD.

Yeah who knows if the IDs are worth it but i am gonna give them a try. Might end up being a waste of money. If so oh well wont be the first time i have wasted money on the truck and i am sure it wont be the last. Wasting money is just what i do apparently.

Now my obsession with AN fittings has cross the line to waste to down right out retardedness. But once again that is just what i do.
