Thanks, I just went and looked at it again. I am having second thoughts on the two tone.

 

I have gone back and forth between smoothing the top and doing it gloss black and clear coating the bottom to completely smoothing the entire thing and doing the whole thing either gloss or satin black.

I'm aiming for the black and silver look like you have. I should check yours out in person before I actually put any paint on anything cause once I do it will be a pita to get it off if I don't like it.
