Any updates? I am thinking of putting L92/LS3 heads on an LQ9 for my truck. Trying to break 400 rwhp and still keep it mild enough for a daily driver and towing.

Is this the cam you have?

Not much has been going on, been saving up money because my original transmission is about to go out. It has 135K miles on it lol! Thats pretty close to what i run but here is the exact specs. BTR stage 4 truck cam is also close to this. I have also had WS6Store spec me a cam. Just giving you some option outside of TSP.

had a couple little purchases recently. My head lights were hazed and film peeling off. So got some different ones. Then I ran across a sweet deal for a gto t56. Still need to gather some parts for the t56 swap.

I guess some ARP bolts would be good replacements to these stock bellhouse to engine bolts? Just gathering some parts for t56 install. Suggestions

So I noticed on almost every write up for a t56 swap, most everyone is running a truck clutch pedal and master. I spoke with people at Hawks and they said I can run either or truck or fbody pedal as long as the slave and master match. I deferred to a set of fbody pedals, but I am not finding much info on anyone swapping them into a silverado. Does anyone have some extra info on this? Also when reading the large thread about a 4l60e to t56 swap a few people fab up some brackets to run bolts through for the pedals on the firewall, does anyone still do this? I would be interested.

One of our wonderful sponsors makes this part that replaces the factory plastic clutch bracket for a much stronger steel one. This lets you keep the truck master and pedal. https://atomicfabandperformance.com/...nting-bracket/

Does this come with bolts and everything to mount the clutch pedal to the firewall? I spoke with Tick performance and they said I could try the fbody pedals, but easier to get the stock 5 speed clutch pedal and bolt it in.

Yes it comes with the large bolt and bushings for the stock truck pedal, and you reuse factory mounting hardware and the factory master. A version to use the Tick master cylinder is in the works but not ready yet.

Anyone see a problem in using this master and slave combo? It’s a stock ls1 space and a Silverado master that has a quick disconnect. Mcleod says they can build me a line for it.

I used the truck master and the fbody slave, got everything shimmed out and it works just fine. I purchased the truck slave too just so i could use the longer hose and quick connect from the truck setup. just knock at roll pin out of the fbody slave and use the longer hose from the truck slave. It fits fine, if mcleod is gonna make a cheap hose for go for it. and get a remote bleeder and save yourself some headache. I think speedway motors has them in various sizes.
