Moving to the other hole got me about five percent more. Ended up having to trim some of the plastic liner under the carpet. That’s got me to 100 percent right at the bottom of floor.
Well I always thought the wideband needed to be in a straight for accuracy. I email pat to make sure before doing some logging and running all they wire.
Ya pretty much. I lifted up the carpet and took some of the plastic under the place where the pedal would hit out. I still have to really jam it down hard but it hits 100 percent in vcm. I need to do a wide open pull and get that tune taken care of then it will be complete. Before I do that I think I need to recalibrate tps and verify my idle values.
i just got distracted here recently with my TA.
i know it’s not a truck but here are some pics. Got everything taken apart except for front clip. Once I have that then I will separate the body from frame.
Thanks. It’s going to be a handful. Everything will have to be new except for the body. Could I have just bought one done yes. But I am hoping this will allow my son and I to spend time together. He is almost three right now.
He will appreciate it when he gets older that you did that with him. My son is 11 and we have worked on my truck together since he was 5. He loves that truck, when he has a bad day he wants me to take him for a power ride to cheer him up. Nothing works like Smokey burnouts and power sliding thru the turns to make him smile.
After a real long time looking finally came
across a Lsa engine cover. It’s painted black, you can tell it was just rattle can sprayed. How can I strip this off without possibly messing up the underside that is red with white lettering.
You could blast it all off and repaint the raised letters. I think walnut media or volcanic ash would do it without pitting the plastic too bad. A light scuff with a scotch brite pad should fix the finish up enough to look good.
Well if I repaint the letters, then I will go as far as painting it black with white letters. Since everything is black. I thought maybe simple approach right now I could put some paint stripper on it and wipe off that black. Leaving the stock red and white.
