I'm guessing that you're right and that they'll hold up pretty well, especially considering the prep that you did, as opposed to just shooting a coat of "high temp" paint on there

Drove the truck to school this evening, and sat idling in traffic for a good twenty min. I could smell a little bit of the paint and some WD40 burning off the pipes. Then when I got to school I looked at them and they still look great.

Where is the customary sound clip? Idle and drive-by.

Oh also how do they sound on the interior. Reason I ask and what I mean is I have Pacesetters on my truck and you can hear the exhaust "noise" in the header really bad its kinda annoying sounds like an exhaust leak. I think its because of the gauge of material they use to make the headers. How do yours sound do they seam noisy lol? Really hard to explain what im talking about at 5AM sorry

No worries I know what you mean. I actuallty had a little bit of an exhaust leak on the passenger side at the ball and socket flange. I tightened it up and can't hear a thing. I know it is usual to hear a little more of an engine tick with headers because they are thinner than the manifolds, but I really don't seem to notice any more noise. The exhaust tone is a little bit deeper during normal driving, and it's a good bit louder at WOT. Just makes the truck more fun to drive

I actually picked up a Hotchkis 2/4 two weeks ago. Front coild and rear leaf springs. Debating on putting it in or selling it.
