Here is my intercooler. The homemade bracket and air dam are made from a street sign, so it's lightweight yet rigid. I painted both of them with undercoating spray. The air dam is longer than the rubber one that comes with it from procharger, and I angled it hoping it draws more air up to it. The homemade bracket uses two existing holes in the frame. I drilled and tapped holes in the frame where the tabs are on each side of the intercooler, so there are a total of 4 solid mounting points to the frame.

That looks like it will funnel quite a bit more air up there. My only concern is come winter time if we get a really good snowfall I don't want to have that act like a shovel and pack snow up in there.....

well i guess the snow would cool it pretty good......

Well, luckily it hasn't snowed here this year except for a few dustings. But, I wouldn't drive my truck in the snow/salt anyway.........that's what my little ford ranger is for! I don't care what happens to it!

Has anyone done a write up on removing the front grill on the NNBS. I have heard it can be quite a PITA. If no one has done it I will write one up when I install all this but was thinking it would be nice if someone already has one written up.
