Actually a stock cable from a 99-02 Silverado, I had to modify it just a very little bit where it clips on by the cab. Very easy tho ;D

A little update. I've been daily driving this beast for a while now without a single hiccup! Very happy with this rig. I did some more tuning on it as well, loving this setup! Well I'm still running around with the Turbonetics and well frankly, after seeing how large this BW turbo is, and the weight of it, I decided if I could find a buyer for it I'll sell it, first off, I really didnt think the way my hot pipes are designed that they will hold this heavy azz turbo, and secondly, I'm a little tired of just going bigger and bigger on my setup, yet never being able to enjoy it! Also, I decided not to build my bottom end so I just didn't need such a big turbo afterall. Well I found a buyer and sold it. But since I sold my Turbonetics to a local friend, I needed a new turbo anyways. So I decided to buy the new 80mm Magnum. Well after alot of research and price searching, I decided to go with the new CX Racing 80mm (supposedly same thing as the Magnum). Well I was looking around on their site and stumbled across the exact same turbo but with a 76mm wheel on the cold side instead of the big 80mm I really didn't need. $50 cheaper, I decided to go with it! Exact wheel specs are:

Compressor: 76.6x103.6mm
Turbine: 77.4x88.9mm

Its advertised as a 1.22 A/R but the housing has a 1.15 a/r stamped on it. Plus its Ball Bearing! I ordered it on black friday, at that time normal price was $549 but they had a 20% off promotion so I got it for $517 shipped lol

cxracing.com: GT45 GT45R Ball Bearing Turbo Charger 76mm wheel T4 1.22AR Anti Surge

Pics:

What's funny is it has all kinds of areas on it that are ground off with a grinder, part numbers and logos! I swear this is a Magnum turbo with the logos removed! Its especially noticeable on the cold side housing where it would normally say MAGNUM is all scuffed up lol.

I know it looks as big as the BW but its not, and I'll say its about 10-15 pounds lighter.

How do you like the turbonetics? I can buy them pretty cheap so I was thinking of going that route instead of BW..

Very nice high quality turbo, just a little on the small size yet the performance is still there! I would highly recommend a Turbonetics to anyone. I think the Hurricane series (7668 and 7868) would be great on a 4.8 upto 18 psi, a 5.3 upto 16 psi and a 6.0 upto 14 psi.

Good to know! Yea that turbo is a little small for my 408. Probably looking for 82mm or so. Thanks man!

Oh yeah definitely! I'm not to familiar with what different sizes Turbonetics makes but yeah on the exhaust exducer you definitely want something over 80mm for the 408. Borg Warner makes a nice big T4 wheel now, like the turbo I posted on post #119, 92x82mm, I'd get that with an 80mmall compressor and a race cover for a 408

What did you have to do to put the 80e in the 89? I'm starting to save to do mine,so if you wouldn't mind to give me a heads up on what I may have to do
