Goodluck buddy. I like the PVC, be careful tho, I managed to melt one on my truck and I don't even have a boiling hot turbo.

Yeah I know ive heard of it melting but Im hoping that it wont be under the hood long enough to melt and nothing hot is going to be directly touching it i think cause you melted yours on the radiator hose right?

Well last night was a bust. Only did two runs, first run the AF was around 11.8 to 12.0 after the 1/8 and the truck launched really shitty. Second run I launches easy in 2wd, AF went up to 12.6 at one point and I let off before the 1/8 and i packed it up for the night. I'm thinking the cold weather is what made the tune lean plus the no air filter/Cia I made. Then on the way home the truck drove weird. Broke up when it went into boost. Could feel a misfire at idle sometimes. Like at one point I was at 70 and if I rolled into boost the whole truck would shake like a wheel was coming off so I just drove it easy after that. Checking stuff on the motor now, 1357 have 180 psi compression. Found a burnt up plug wire boost on passenger side so I wonder if that was my whole issue. That wire's boot literally lays on the manifold and I have wire protectors obviously but the header wrap on the manifold is pretty cooked after 2 years. I bought new plugs but all them look the same, the ends aren't sooty cause they are ngk tr6s which are hot it would appear. So Im gonna check the rest of the compression and throw on a new wire. All j could think about last night was that I melted a piston or broke a ringland but that would show up as low compression right?

Yea it would. Take it from me, start with basics!

The Taylor 9mm wires have a very small boot and im sure would fit very well. Id give them a shot!

Yeah compression was all good. And 2 wires were toasted so that would explain why it was running like ****. Put on 2 of my old wires on (I already bought a new set) and it ran good again. So Im gonna go to the track again this friday and try again. I put some more fresh header wrap between the boots and the manifold so I hope I didnt toast some more on the ride up to vermont today. Since I got to buy new wires now Ill probably get ones with some sort of bend in the boot
