5.3 LC9 to 6.0 LY6 swap, no start.
I'm just finishing up the following swap in our 09 Suburban 1500:
5.3 LC9 w/AFM(DOD) to 6.0 LY6 w/VVT
6.0 is new takeout from 09 2500HD Silverado
I've deleted the AFM/DOD in tune (6.0 doesnt have this) , and added 2 wires to PCM for VVT and appropriate harness (original 5.3 did not have this, 6.0 does)
Everything else direct swap, all map/maf/coils/coolant sensors from stock 5.3 reused.
I used the knock sensors from the 6.0 (looked same) and the crank sensor (looked same) from the 6.0
When i try to start, i get nothing...doesnt even turn over.
I triple checked VVT wiring, seems correct...still think it would at least turn over anyway.
What am i missing here, what systems would keep the starter from engaging?
Does same with stock 5.3tune and 6.0 tune by the way.

Hey guys thanks for the response. Got it running this afternoon. I was irritated last evening when it wouldnt even turn over, and the battery was drained from being idle for several weeks....so i left it alone for the evening.
Got a fresh start this afternoon, planned to go back thru all of the wiring. Raised it up and began at the starter....duhhhh. It was unplugged. I guess i bolted the feed wire on and forgot the ign plug!
Thankfully it started with no other issues.
