Default Which year GMT800 is best??

I'm looking to move up to the newer body style truck. I plan to build a RCSB 4wd. I was thinking 03-06 or 07classic. Is there any advantages in year models other than 05-06's having electric fan?

I believe my 95' can be put back on the road for much less than I got from insurance. I'll use the LQ9 in whatever truck I purchase. There's so many more parts out there for the newer trucks than the 88-98's.

Here's what my truck looks like now after some woman geeked out decided to hit me at a stop light

If anyone has what I'm looking for they want to sell shoot me a PM.

Pretty much the same, other then the electric fans. The 03 trucks 03 back trucks have the return fuel system which alot of people prefer over the returnless one. Unless your going to be into the fuel system with bigger pumps, ect it shouldn't mater much to you.

More than likely will be into the fuel system. I plan to do a 4l80 swap, turbo and swap the cam and headgaskets in my LQ9.

There's actually a 02' RCSB z71 that's pretty close to me for 6k. It looks great in the pictures I've seen.

Personally I like the seats, steering wheel, radio and front end better on the 03-06's but the older ones are still very nice.

Also eventually I'd like to put the SS cladding on.

Go with an 03+

Lots more room behind the grill for an intercooler, DBW TB is easier to tune, bigger fuel tank bucket.

i like the ones with the e-fans, bigger radiator, and if your going to mess with the fuel system, im sure you wont have an issue going to the return style fuel system.
