great progress?? geez my his 370 went to the machine shop before mine did and i had mine in my truck runnin before he got his out..now ive had the heads intake and cam off for a few months and going with a bigger cam and ls6 heads and im just now gettin around to gettin the parts to finish it again and he still aint got his turd running...haha sorry dude just had to give ya ****..good to hear your so close to havin it done
I'm SLOW... Actually my excuse is good, my machine shop is 600 miles away. The fact I changed some of my machine shop plans didn't help ether.
Lets not forget I rebuilt a 4l80e at the same time and remodeled my work bench.. lolI got my push rods in on one head. I went with the 7.35 length rods which netted me about .073 preload, or one full turn to seat the rocker.
Head gasket and reverse apply pin should be in my hot little fingers later today. Hopefully soon...

Well I didn't get much done. I did get the other head bolted down. And the Super-de-duper steam tube done...

The blue tube is 3/8's that should flow more coolent than the oem one...

It may not be any better, but it can't hurt...
