I had an ls9 cam in my escalade with 3:42's and a 3000k stall. it works well with a stall and a good tune. I used that cam with the stock 6.2 and the 408 I had as I planned on doing and lsa blower. I loved that cam but I decided to change it when I did the build I currently have.
I don't know who said 4k rpm but that is not accurate to say the least lol

well I decided im gonna add some boost sooner than later....so I ordered a TVS1900!....I would like to run 9-10# of boost...will I need Meth to run 10# on 93 octane??....now that I bought the blower im questioning the whole build...I still have my L96...should I use the lower compression Iron Block 6.0 for longevity or stick with the higher compression Aluminum LS3? My goal is a 600+ RWHP Daily Driver....
If I did use the 6.0 I would a most likely throw an LS9 cam in it...If I leave the LS3 Im just bolting on the blower and sticking with my original cam choice...
Would love to hear some opinions...

The LS9 cam would be a bad choice in a heavy truck.
Don't get stuck on boost pressure, that's just silly. See what power it makes right out of the box and go from there if you ask me.
People are boosting factory Camaro's to pretty crazy power levels, I don't think you are going to have any problem with it being reliable on a good tune.

Main questions aren't about cam selection....more so would there be a difference in reliability from a 9.7:1 compression vs 10.7:1 compression on 10#s??
would I need meth to run 10#'s on 93 octane?
Will the Flex Fuel Pump support 600rwhp with some ID725s?

got some new wheels tonight...I wanted a light weight wheel and these popped up on Craigslist for a good deal...some 3 Piece CCWs Classic 5's...18x9 and 18x10...gonna run some Mickey Thompson 30"x12.00" which are equal to a 305/50R18...stock 275/55R20 are 31.9" tall so will only be a 1" drop from the tires and then I will also be installing the Tahoe PPV rear springs and removing the .5" spacer in the front so total drop with suspension changes and the new wheels and tires will be 1.5/2.75...fronts weigh 24lbs each and rears 25.2lbs each...tires weigh 36lbs each..should be a nice decrease in rotating weight...
