well, i got some news today about some of the components that were going to go on the truck and i guess i have to change my game plan on the setup...
procharger did not come though, and i have been talking to Dave "a very respectable man in the MOPAR world" @ Hughes Engines out of Washington, Il..... the lifters in these engines are apperantley diffrent size or something from the earlier models, the cam timing chain and sprocket is diffrent as well cause of the VVT, which i want to remove and there are not many parts available to do it unless we do something custom...the lifter bores would have to install bushings on them to accept a real lifter..and as far as the bottom it can be taken care of without a problem....the problem persists on the topend...
soooooo, looks like the engine may have to come out so we can do the nessesary modifications to accept what we want to do to it, looks like i am gonna have to be the pioneer on this thing to get some parts on it and not have a reground cam in it with the vvt...
if so happens it will get a full forged engine with all the goodies to support a good 1k hp ...and as far as power adder it will likeley be a turbowith enough boost ..dont know what size engine we'll go with yet, but i know for a fact to make big power it doesnt need to be a "big" cubic inch motor...of course it will affect spoolup, but that can be taken care of with the right exhaust housing on it, so i am thinking same 5.7L...
i will keep updating as i go...
