Considering they came on the l96 and have already been milled and checked.... Im planning on building the 5.3 up for a later undetermined project....

Build me a gen 3 5.3 with proper rods and ring gap to tackle turbo!

Decisions, decisions..... Have access to a 6.2 (not sure if its l92 or what) out of a denali, that has piston slap..... All i need is a core to send back!!!!

Thats a good question, ill have to find out!! But my shp foreman has a 5.3 thats been sitting in his yard or garage or something hes about to scrap, so if its just a rotating assembly thats needed.....

Things didnt pan out with the 6.2 but i did end up with a damn near brand new oil pump (as in was put in to try to fix an oil pressure issue that turned out to be a bearing clearance issue, and has maybe 15-20 miles at most on it) for the time it took to swap my old one from the l96 into the core!!!
