Thats what i was worried about, but apparently i got lucky on these!!! Think the bent pushrod took the blunt of whatever force was exerted on a valve

 

I have only seen severely damaged ones and those are the ones that usually need work. such as a seat or a guide.

 

Yeah usually when theyre bad theres a reason for it!!!

 

Got my heads back, theyre so pretty!!! Lol ill get pics here in a bit....planning to paint them. Thinking a good coat of aluminum engine paint will do nicely

 

Finally got around to pulling the bottom end apart tonight... Surprising considering what the cam bearings looked like the bottom end could be run the way it is.... Gonna get crank polished and probably run some .001 under bearings, but we will see!!

 

What's the hold up?
